Many a times despite of best care the teeth may be lost. Though nothing can look, feel and function like natural teeth, the artificial dentures enable the patients’ feel as good. After teeth have been lost one could choose from Removable Partial Dentures (Metal or Resin), Complete Dentures, Over Dentures, Immediate Dentures, Fixed Dentures (Bridge) Crowns, Dental Implants etc.
Partial Dentures are provided when few teeth are lostand the remaining are natural teeth.
Complete Dentures are fabricated after all the teeth have been lost.
Immediate Dentures are prepared prior hand to extraction's and are delivered immediately after extraction's to avoid social embarrassment.
Over Dentures are provided over modified natural teeth/roots to make it feel natural.
Bridge, is a Fixed Partial Denture which can not be removed by patient and fixed to the natural teeth.
Crowns are provided for restoring mutilated, broken teeth to provide support and form. In case patient is looking for fixed teeth in absence of unavailable natural teeth supports or do not like to lend natural teeth for support of Bridge, Implants could be surgically placed in the jaw bone to hold dentures. The Dentures do require regular care and would warrant replacement after few years.
